Foggy Bottom IPA is a hazy IPA that maximizes tropical flavors and aromas. Brewed with Omega's Helio Gazer® ale yeast, it releases thiol precursors from ingredients, creating a tropical bouquet of pineapple, mango, and guava. The malt base includes Mecca Grade Pelton Pilsner and various flaked grains, contributing to a soft mouthfeel and stable haze. Hops are used in the mash to further enhance thiol precursors, and the hop bill features traditional hazy IPA hops like Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7, Azacca, and Galaxy.
