Hoegaarden Wit / Blanche is the original Belgian wheat beer, with a history dating back to 1445. This witbier is brewed with unmalted wheat, hops, coriander, and Curaçao orange peel, resulting in a very pale and hazy beer with a frothy head. It offers a refreshing taste with citrusy, fruity, and spicy notes, balanced by a light bitterness. The beer is light-bodied and well-balanced, known for its cloudy (white) appearance due to being unfiltered and bottle-conditioned, with a second round of yeast added to the bottle for carbonation. It pairs well with salads, fish, shellfish, and tangy cheeses
