Rubaeus is Founders Brewing Company's tribute to raspberries, a vibrant berry-red wheat ale that expertly balances sweet and tart notes with refreshing drinkability. This beer achieves its intense raspberry flavor through the addition of fresh raspberries at five separate stages during the brewing process, from the kettle through fermentation. Built on a pale wheat malt base with Crystal hops, it has a subtle bitterness of 15 IBUs, allowing the fruit to be the star.
