"K" is for Kriek
Brooklyn Brewery's "K" is for Kriek is an American interpretation of a traditional Belgian Kriek, starting with a dark abbey ale base. It's enhanced with dark candi sugar, local wildflower honey, and a hint of orange peel, then aged for six months in charred American bourbon oak barrels with tart Montmorency cherries from Michigan. A third fermentation in the bottle with Champagne and wild Brettanomyces yeasts results in a dry, fruity, and tart profile with complex fruit aromatics and oak flavors. This full-bodied and expansive beer is suitable for enjoying now or cellaring for years
Calorie counts are based on a 12-ounce serving unless the manufacturer specifies otherwise.
