This maturation process imparts a rich and complex character, with aromas of iced cinnamon rolls, orange boiled sweets, and fresh sweet oak, complemented by hints of raisins and mint. The palate reveals a silky texture with flavors of banana, berry jam, malt biscuit, classic sherry oak depth, cinnamon, and dried fruit. The finish is pleasantly long and balanced, featuring ground spice, soft Scottish tablet sweetness, and a whisper of peat smoke. It was awarded Gold at the International Spirits Challenge 2021.
