Superior Rum

Bacardi Superior Rum, originating in Cuba in 1862, was pioneered by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó. It is recognized as the world's first clear, light-bodied rum, making it a foundational spirit for many popular cocktails. The rum is aged for one to two years in carefully selected oak barrels, then blended and undergoes a second charcoal filtration to achieve its signature clarity and smoothness. It typically has an Alcohol By Volume (ABV) of 40% in the US market. The primary production facility is Casa Bacardi in Cataño, Puerto Rico, which is the largest premium rum distillery globally.
