Pride

Pride Mountain Vineyards, founded in 1990 by Jim and Carolyn Pride, is situated high atop the Mayacamas Mountains, straddling the Napa and Sonoma county line. The property, historically known as Summit Ranch, has been growing wine grapes since 1869 and features wine caves and the ruins of an old stone winery dating back to 1890. The vineyard is recognized for producing world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, and Viognier. Their wines have been served at the White House numerous times and have appeared on Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the World list. Since 2004, the winery has been owned and managed by Jim and Carolyn's children, Suzanne Pride Bryan and Steve Pride, who continue the tradition of crafting distinct, mountain-grown wines
