Brooklyn Dark Matter is a robust brown ale aged for four months in a blend of bourbon and rye whiskey barrels. This special release features a complex flavor profile with prominent notes of caramel and chocolate, complemented by vanilla-like oak and hints of the whiskey from the barrels' previous tenants. It pours a very dark brown, almost black, with an aroma of vanilla, whiskey, and oak. The taste is smooth and rich, with a big whiskey profile upfront, followed by nutty, oaked, caramel, and chocolate flavors
